Application received!
Thank you for contacting us.
We review each application individually, so there may be a delay in our response.
What happens now?
There is a broad interest in becoming a host for ADSB SUPPORT, so it’s not possible to accept all requests immediately.
This is what usually happens once your request to join is submitted:
- Your details are added to the waitlist, along with your coordinates.
- We then prioritise your location, based on the following factors:
- Airspace Coverage potential – is this a location where we need airspace coverage?
- Ground Coverage potential – does this location provide a potential for ground coverage at an aerodrome that isn’t already covered?
- Redundancy potential – does the location give redundancy to an existing ground station that doesn’t have any redundancy?
- Is this a referral from an existing host?
- Are there any costs to ADSB SUPPORT for hosting (e.g. leasing of space on a radio mast installation)
- If the location is assessed as a high priority:
- You will be contacted within 14 days or so to request more details, so we can create a formal hosting agreement with you.
- After 14 days from this inital contact, we will send a reminder if you haven’t responded
- 14 days after the reminder, the offer will expire, and you will need to submit your request again.
- Usually within 14 days of signing an agreement, we will send the equipment to you at no charge.
- Once received, you should have the ground station installed within 4 weeks (unless otherwise agreed)
- If the location is not assessed as a high priority:
- Your details will added to a prioritized waitlist.
- We will reassess the list periodically to see if there are any ground station candidates that can be prioritized higher. Once all the high priority hosts have been sent equipment, we begin to look at the next level of requests.
- You can reach out to us to reinforce your interest in being a ground station, or to request we remove you from the waitlist.
Note that in some areas, we utilize “network partners” to assist with language, and understanding of the local environment. Your details may be shared with them to help with prioritization, language translation, and understanding of the local environment. All network partners have an active NDA with us, and must comply with the same privacy regulations.
